Segment Synopsis: In this segment, Mrs. Kling talks about growing up in Frankfurt, Germany before her family immigrated to America. She talks about her family's decision on immigrating to Louisville and moving away from Germany. She talks about when they moved to Louisville and where she attended school and lived throughout her childhood here. She also talks about her extended family, who immigrated here a couple of weeks before them. She talks about the things that she was involved in during her childhood including be heavily involved at the YHMA.

She talks about helping to raise money for the Jewish Community Center by going through neighborhoods asking for money. She then discusses her husband as well, talking about his education, their wedding, and his army work as an engineer. She talks briefly about their life in Syracuse, New York, where David had been sent to take courses for the army. She talks about her work throughout her life as well. Mrs. Kling talks about her and her husband and their children, including their involvements.
