Segment Synopsis: In this segment, Mrs. Abramson discusses her family history, beginning with her father's side of the family. She talks about their lives and how they came to live in Louisville from Germany. She talks about her mother's side of the family as well, who were originally from Russia. She talks about her mother and her father, both of whom had passed by the interview date. Mrs. Abramson talks about her mother's family's involvement at the YHMA where they spent most of their time.

Segment Synopsis: In this segment, Mrs. Abramson talks about growing up in Louisville. She discusses where they lived when she was growing up and those who lived around them, including neighbors as well as her extended family members. Mrs. Abramson talks about the friends that she had growing up, the schools that she went to, and her memories of those times. Mrs. Abramson discusses some of the historical events that she's lived through as well, including Pearl Harbor. She also talks about her father's work at the bank and her memories of the stock market crash that came from her father's work friends. Mrs. Abramson also discusses her memories of the flood, when her and her family were living with her family in the Highlands.

Segment Synopsis: In this segment, Mrs. Abramson talks about her husband, Shelley, and their relationship. In talking about her husband, she talks about his family background as well, including his family that was from Russia. She discusses her husband's life growing up, where he went to school, where he lived, and more information on him. She talks about her husband's decision to join the military as a pilot, which had been a dream of his since he was younger. She talks about their marriage and their wedding at the Kentucky Hotel. Mrs. Abramson talks about where they lived after they were married and had their children, including talking about all of the people that lived in the building with them.
